Hi there!
My name is Reuben Tudball.
Welcome to my website!
I am currently going into my 4th year at Sheridan College's Computer Science program with a specialization in Computer Science
This program sees me working closely with modern frameworks for both web development and mobile computing. From platform specific languages such as Kotlin and Swift, all the way to sophisticated hybrid frameworks like Flutter, Sheridan's curriculum has provided me with a strong set of tools to begin my software development journey.
Beyond develepment work, Sheridan also sees courses which cover other software engineering related topics such as Computation Mathematics, collaborative project management tools in Jira, and UI/UX design.
Flush allows users to tag, rate, and discover washrooms. The idea behind the application is that most people tend to have a preference with the washrooms they visit.
Some value cleanliness, some value size. I myself prefer a quiet, secluded bathroom. Flush allows users to discover public restrooms near them that match any of their preferred qualities in a washroom.
It utilizes the Flutter framework, along side Firebase for data persistancy.
I'm currently Lead Sensei at Code Ninjas Oakville.
This job sees me teaching and assisting the kids (or Ninjas) with projects using Scratch, Makecode Arcade, Javascript, Lua, and C#. Beyond the enjoyment of software development, I get a kick out of seeing the kids grow and learn over time. Many start out with no experience or any idea how to code, but end up blowing me away with how fast they pick up concepts, and how insightful many of their questions can be.
